Descendants to Emil Anderson

This side is especially for my American relatives.
 

 

Bror Emil Andersson was born in Delsbo, Fredriksfors, Gävleborgs län, Sweden in 22/6 1889. They were 7 siblings in the family.




Emil was the first to leave for North America in 1906.
His brother Anders Petter Anderson, B.4/4 1884, left for US in 5/8 1910.

The first photo was taken in 1930 in Spokane, Washington.
The second photo was taken in Bellmore, Long Island, New York 1953.

 

Emil went on a boat called "Rollo", that departed from Göteborg 1906.
First stop was Grimsby, England. From there he took a boat with destination Chicago, Illinois, USA. He arrived in USA 6/11 1906.
He was 17 years old at that time.

            

 

In USA he worked as a laborer, fisherman and as a saw mill worker.

He met Caroline Wieland. She was born 16/9 1892 in Blaine, Washington by father William Wieland and mother Christina Wieland, both from Germany.
Carolina had 4 siblings,
Lizzie C, Christina A, William C, Charlie F. Their mother Christina was not alive 1910 according to Census 1910.

Doris Arlene Anderson (married Butler)


 

 30/9 1950 Doris married Duane Butler.
Doris worked as a pharmacy technician at a hospital. Retired 1989.
